Hi, i just wanna ask if someone here have the same condition as me. i have abnormal x ray in st. luke but sputum result was negative. when i arrived here in the states i have to do follow up check up in the public health. i was ask to do skin test and x ray. skin test result was positive and x ray was abnormal. the doctor told me to retake x ray and it was still abnormal but still sputum is negative and i dont have any symptoms at all though she want me to do the treatment for 6-9months.. whew!!!!!!

now im in the process of my AOS. will this affect the process of my AOS?

It could cause troubles if you don't get it taken care of properly.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Just do the treatment. I know someone who applied for a AOS green card from a different visa who came up positive for inactive TB. He got treatment and then got approved. Often times skin tests are not the best indicators for TB. Turks for example are given an extra strong dose when they get vaccinated for TB, which shows up as positive on a skin test. They then need to get the X-ray. I know several Turkish people this has happened to.
