Alien Registration Number in I-130 and G-325A

Hi, I'm a US citizen thru naturalization. I'm trying to fill in the paperwork to bring my wife to the US.

In my certificate of naturalization it shows up. Let's remember that Certificate of Naturalization and Alien Registration Number are different

1. In the question 10. of I-130. Alien Registration Number is Required. I read online from a non-official website that US citizens (even from naturalization) should put 'N/A' because below in question 13 you are asked to write your naturalization certificate number. Can someone confirm or denied this?

2. In the G-325A Biographic Information, there is a box that asks for an Alien Registration Number. My question is Do I have to fill in that number now that I'm a US citizen? Wouldn't that be confusing? Showing a number that is used for Residents but I'm saying that I'm a citizen. (I don't want to confuse the person reading the form)

I understand that for my wife I would have to put "N/A" because she hasn't been assigned one yet.

For your wife you should put "none" rather than "n/a".

You should download the instruction for filing I-130. It lists what to put. Some filings suggests "N/A" while others suggest "None".

Don't mix the two. Follow the instructions.
