Sorry if this is in the wrong thread. Ill appreciate it if it is moved to the right thread.

Hi guys, i too had my finance's k1 denied dec 14th 2015. The CO kept asking him why we didn't get married when i visited him three times in london. He had overstayed his visa 3 yrs in london when i visited so he told the CO that he was illegal there and couldn't do that and besides, all my family members are in the states so we want everything to be done there. The CO kept saying we could've still done the marriage there and did the wedding in the US, which my fiancé said he wasn't aware that option was available to him as an illegal resident. The CO asked him what plans we have for the wedding and he said honestly we couldn't really plan anything because we don't know the exact date he is arriving in the states so there are no specifics to anything. Every other question that was asked was well answered except the CO KEPT coming back to the same question as to why we didnt get married when i visited 3 times in london. At the end of the interview, the CO SAID I'm going to deny you because there is no credible basis for the marriage. He didn't gave him a letter that is to be given to me that says he's being denied on a 221g. We decide not to pursue the k1 anymore since the CO KEPT asking why we didn't get married so i went to ghana a week ago and we got married. Im planning on sending in and-130 by the end of the week.

when i was going through the questions, there was one question asking for the last dress we both lived together. we have never lived together, as he was in london when we met and i have been here in atlanta. We have been married only for a week now which right after the ceremony i had to return because of school. Do i just put N/A?

Also, we don't have any property together, no children, no bank accounts as we literally just started our relationship only a year ago. we have pictures of the marriage ceremony, pictures while he was in london, messages and phone calls but i don't think thats enough to show we are really married. What else could we add to strengthen our case.

ANY ADVICE will be appreciated. Thanks
