Process for the K-2 is the same as K-1; embassy recommends the medical be at least 5-7 days before the interview.

Follow the embassy instructions letter. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf

Like Hank has said, USEM recommends 5-7 business days. For K-2's he may need a TB skin test and that cannot be read until the observation period of 48-72 hours concludes. You have some planning to do. If the moon and the stars were lined up perfectly, yes you can follow your posted schedule but I am not recommending it. See the posting about TB testing for children from SLEC website below.

http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#required-exams

Since Tuberculin Skin Testing requires an observation period of 48-72 hours, applicants 2-14 years old are advised not to come for their medical examination on a Thursday. The clinic is closed on weekends, so the TST cannot be interpreted before it expires.

How old is your K2? Tests are age specific such as tuberculin test. If he will undergo this your schedule is very tight.

If there will be no problem with all the tests and he will not undergo tuberculin test, medical done in 2 days.

Can only start the medical Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday as it is a 3 day process for the child.

That's tight but it may work. Not many other choices so this might work for you.

You can keep the schedule, then if there will be any problem you should know by day 2 then just re-schedule.

With that if everything is fine, your son can do the interview as scheduled. Do the medical starting Monday.
