I-864 Joint Sponsor Married/W2s

I have a married couple acting as my joint sponsor since I work overseas.

I have a transcript of their tax returns (filed jointly).

The NVC site says I don't need to include W2s if I have a transcript but I read on the wiki here that if they file jointly I need W2s to show each sponsors income.

Is this the case or will the transcript be enough?

thanks

hi

no, w2;s will be needed to show individual income, that's the proof

one will fill out the i864 and put his or her individual income, the spouse will fill out the i864A and his or her individual income will be added to the joint sponsor's i864

the sum will be the exact amount of the transcript, but the proof of individual income for each of them are the W2s
