Dear Friends

I got my K1 Visa today and there is something on visa it says: 212 (G) (2) (A) CLASS A OR B REQ. ATTN. OF USPHS AT POE

Now this makes me worry, If someone knows what this means, please inform me.

Thanks

Its an immigration and nationality act with its subtitles. Its easy enough to google. I'll give you a try and post the site. Dont worry..you seem to have your visa!

Under the new INA §212(a)(1)(A)(ii), aliens who seek admission as an immigrant or who seeks to adjust status to that of permanent resident is excludable and who fail to present documentation of their vaccinations against vaccine-preventable diseases, including mumps, measles, rubella, polio, tetanus and diphtheria toxoids, pertussis, influenza type B and hepatitis B, and any other vaccinations against vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the advisory committee for immunization practices. A waiver is available under the new INA §212(g)(2) in the case of an alien:

A: who receives vaccination against the vaccine preventable disease or diseases for which the alien failed to present documentation

You were given your visa with a waiver on the spot for recieving a vaccination that you had no documentation for. Lucky you...and congrats!
