I received a mail on Dec 14, 2015 confirming NVC received all documents and am asked to wait for interview date.

I called NVC today in-order to be sure am not just waiting but I was advice to wait till my Priority date is current.

My Priority date is : Oct 2008.

Who else is having this date?

I tried to use the timeline search tool for your case but it does not help much with F1A cases

Your PD isn't current.. The January 2016 bulletin just came out and it's at May 2008. So you are in wait mode.

It moves about 4 weeks every month so Oct 2008 should be current in 4 to 5 months.

Dear All, Finally my Visa Interview is slated for this month and I hope it goes well...

Being preparing for it and hope to find the best answer to this question below if asked...

Why do you want to travel to USA?

Note: I'm F1 Applicant - Unmarried Son traveling to meet my Father in USA
