If your GC 'Residence since' date is xx-xx-xxxx, you can mail in the application 90 days (since some months have 31 days) on the 90th day prior to that 3 year date.

For eg: if your 'residence since' date is 1/1/15

You will be eligible for Citizenship on 1/1/18

You can file 'upto' 90 days in advance, which is 13 weeks (shy one day since 13 weeks x 7 days = 91 days), but I am sure you won't battle 'One' day, so count 13 weeks backwards, which will land you on 10/1/17. So if you mail you application on 1/10/17, it will take a day or two to reach them, which will automatically put you within 90 day period and you won't have to worry about rejection :))))

Hope this helps.

I just saw that your GC interview/approval date is 12/30. I gave my example of 1/1. 2 days apart. If you follow that timeline I just posted, you will be more than ok.

:)

Thank you very much!

God Bless!!!

I found this "Date Calculator", Residence since: date is 12/30/2015, after 3 years 12/30/2018 then it calculated (Earliest Filing date is: 10/01/2018).

So my understanding I can send it from 10/01/2018 - 12/30/2018 as long it is not before 10/01/2018?
