I just wanted to comment to highlight the importance of this. It's the reason my fiance is moving here and not the other way around.

The USC immigrating to the UK was mentioned before, but the 18,600 pound price tag was not.

Reminder to OP that you cannot use a co sponsor for UK family visas. You have to be making the 18,600 yourself, or have the required combined savings/assets to make up for it.

Marry him B4 he leaves the UK then he can petition you when he gets home,

you will later on be told to file a waiver at the interview....In the mentime he can

continue to visit you in the UK....he should leave there B4 the 6 mths is up .

It is unlikely that she will be able to marry him legally in the UK without a valid visa allowing them to do so. He would need to leave the UK, and they would need to apply for a marriage visitor visa. https://www.gov.uk/marriage-visa/overview
