I have three question to ask.

1. What is the current waiting time for interview date after USEM in Manila receives approved K-1 Package from NVC?

2. How long does it take to receive approved K-1 Visa in hand after interview? via 2GO service

3. Does anyone ever get their K-1 visa immediately after interview or can it be picked up later instead of waiting for mailing time?

1. You can speed up the interview process by calling the NVC and getting your MNL case number from them. Once you have your MNL case number, you can go ahead and pay the visa application fee, schedule an interview, and complete the medical. The alternative is to wait until the Embassy notifies your fiancée that she is eligible to schedule an interview. This alternative will slow down your visa journey considerably because the Embassy is slow notify, and because sometimes they don't notify at all.

Once you are ready to schedule an interview, usually you should be able to schedule one within three to six weeks. However, this varies depending on how busy the Embassy is at that particular time. There are holidays coming up too.

2. After a successful interview, the visa delivery averages about seven to ten business days. It's common to see visa packets delivered anywhere from three days to three weeks.

3. The visa will not be ready immediately after the interview. There have been a few emergency cases where the visa packet was available at the Embassy after a few days. However, the overwhelming majority of people must wait for delivery. A quick way to get the visa packet is to have the Embassy deliver it to 2GO at the Mall of Asia, and for you to pick it up there.

1) Once you get your MNL# from NVC (details in the link below in my signature) YOU schedule the interview, complete the medical... and so forth.

2) After the visa is ISSUED it can take another 7-10 before the visa is in hand. ISSUED is not during the interview, watch the CEAC website or ISSUED status.

3) NO. All visas are delivered by 2GO

Thank you for both the comments above.

My last question is directed to recent K-1 Visa Filers who have already scheduled their appointment.

How much wait time did you have from date you scheduled interview to when it was scheduled?

Are you asking what is the earliest available date? That changes daily.

As to how far out, that to a big degree depends on you, how far out do YOU want to schedule the interview?

I had my interview on the 25th of November this year.

I tracked my case number on the CEAC website

Nov. 25-30 = Ready

Dec.2 = Administrative Processing

Dec. 4 up to today = Issued

I also tracked my passport, it says it is still at the Embassy - I believe I am going to receive a text from 2go when my passport is in transit.

Hope this helps!
