Sorry to bring this thread back, but is there anyone else from jan still waiting?

Yes, we are still waiting. At our interview (in March), we were told all that was needed was for the FBI name check to clear.

It is very frustrating. We're going to wait for 3 months after our interview date and then go for an Infopass appointment.

Luckily my husband got his EAD without a problem.

This is getting ridiculous. My name isn't common at all. I can count on my fingers how many people has my last name in Brazil. Lots of them have my last name in Germany, but still...

Thank God I got my EAD and I can work. At least that.

I feel like we're being punished for doing the right thing, you know?

Lots of illegals come to the States and they can work right away, they can do whatever they want and we have to spend money, go through an entire background check, not once, but twice, we follow step by step, we wait patiently to be able to be with the one we love, it's an absurd situation and I'm really sick of this sh!t.
