Hello, all!

I am so confused with the cfo appointment scheduling. So it says there that if your fiance/spouse is a foreign national, former filipino or with dual citizenship, you are required to attend the PDOS.

Now, here are my questions.

1. My husband is still a filipino citizen (Will be a US citizen in 3 more yrs), i believe i will choose the "former filipino" option from the drop-down, right?

2. And the session slots are based on my husband's country of citizenship. So, since my husband is NOT YET a US citizen but eventually will be, do i choose a session under the USA slots, or do i choose from the Asia Pacific slot (thinking because he is still a filipino citizen)?

3. And in the drop-down for choosing the citizenship of my husband, im not sure if i should choose USA becuase again eventually he will become a US citizen, or should i choose Pacific Islander since he is still a filipino citizen? It says there pacific islander, no option for philippines

Oh my. I didnt know this will be this confusing. Appreciate all your answers.

It's not confusing for the most part. You are overthinking everything and trying not to make one mistake. It think that is a definition for "Super Woman".

Just answer the questions truthfully. He is not a USC so don't use that. He is a Filipino and thus you will indicate such. I think the rest you can handle. Just don't overthink. There isn't a person in VJ that claim they are perfect nor at USEM. Mistakes can be corrected. But not using factual information will nosedive you in your processing.

I will have my interview on Dcember 4 and yesterday I scheduled/reserved my cfo apppintment for dec 14. I would suggest schedule yours at the earliest date now dont wait for anything as the website says slots are easily taken because there are people who set their appointments a month before their interview. You dont want to be delayed because of the holidays.

As far as cfo online registration you just need to answer basic info..at the interview they needed passport and visa but they will allow you to attend the seminar without passport and visa. Just inform them if your waiting for your visa and passport that the embassy still have those. once you have it you will go back to cfo for visa sticker

Ur right but i think ur case is a fiancee visa which is different from f2a visa. Fiancee visa can set gcp even before interview while f2a visa needs visa number before u can set pdos

Hi, greenbaum!

Would u know if we are required to upload a 2x2 photo in the pdos registration form or is it okay not to and just bring a 2x2 photo instead on the day of the seminar?

Thanks
