Hi Visa Journey!

I was following the VJ's Guide to K-1 visa but it seems to be missing the DS 160 part. I'm quite confused on when I should do this? I'm afraid that guide is not complete and I will forget something! Is there a place where I can find an exhaustive list?

My fiance is in Thailand and I just received my second NOA.

Thank you!!

The DS-160 is completed once your package is at the US Embassy. After they receive your packet, they'll send you instructions on what to do next and since every embassy follows a different procedure, that's why it wasn't mentioned in the guide, I'm assuming.

Your fiance has to take it to his/her interview in the consulate, and as the DS-160 is valid only for 30 days after you complete it. Don't start it until you get the instructions from the consulate, which will be after USCIS approves the petition and NVC sends your documents to the local embassy/consulate.
