Americans required to get Real ID card!

The REAL ID ACT was passed by Congress and signed by President Bush on May 11, 2005 . It mandates that ALL US citizens will receive a National ID Card by May of 2008. Without it, you won't drive a car, board a plane, train or bus, enter and Federal building, open a bank account, or hold a job. If you can't hold a job, or have a bank account, how much buying and selling will you be able to do?

As for Bible prophecy, it is foretold of a time comming when every person will be required to have a ' mark or a number ', and without it no one will be able to participate in the economy.

I have heard the Feds are giving states more time and now it won't take effect until 2009 .

Put down Revelation, you're going to hurt someone waving around that prophecy. Plus, didn't social security already give everyone a mark or a number? Or maybe it was credit cards. Or the production of paper money.

All y'all freaking out about illegal immigrants and the need to do something just got your wish with bonus motivation for identity theft. So much for an open society.

Maybe I should just use smoke signals from my wigwam, it's probably a bit less scary. But then someone will holler about my contribution to global warming.

How are you so certain the Rapture hasn't already happened while you were using your social security number for ID purposes?

I think its a good idea (certainly not a bad one). Am pretty sure the sky won't fall, or world will end.

Other countries do it (Germany for example).
