A quick question

Hi

I have just recieved an email from the London Embassy stating that my Packet 3 forms have been recieved and processed. Wahoo!!!!!!

Unforunatley they are saying that they have not recieved my checklist and if I havent sent it to send it in.

Now I did actually send this seperately to my Packet 3, on the 20/02 compared to the 14/02 for the Packet 3.

I am worried as I did not send the checklist by registered mail.

Does this mean that they havent recieved at all and if so do I need to send in another one.

First off I would email the embassy or call them and ask if you need to resend or do they have your checklist? The checklist is to be sent in at the time you submitted your package so not sure of how to handle this other than to inquire to them personally and get their advice. Good luck .

They tend to be VERY slow in opening their mail, so they may very well have your checklist there but they just have not opened it. You should tell them that you did send it, just a few days after you sent Packet 3, so it should be somewhere at the Embassy. If it doesn't turn up you'll just have to send them another then I guess!

My guess would be that James_and_Miranda are correct, but I would immediately send another signed checklist just in case the first one did not arrive or was misplaced after it arrived. Why wait to find out for sure and risk a possible delay that could easily have been avoided?

I think our checklist took around 3 or 4 weeks before it was processed.
