Hello everyone I'm applying for the green card through marriage and I'm in USA my wife she's an US citizens here income is good to sponsor me but she's only 19 years old she use to be dependant to her mom so she didn't file taxes my friend will be the co sponsor I know that he have to file the i_864 but I don't know if she have to file the I-864A or she have to and what documents he needs to.Thank you.

Even if the petitioner has no income, they must also submit the affidavit of support. I know this from personal experience.

With the I-864 the sponsor must send a copy of his or her birth certificate (later the original will be asked for) , tax transcripts for the past 3 years OR tax returns with W2's or 1099s and other proof of work and income.
