I have two questions about I864 - I did go to a lawyer and ask a few months ago, but I'm confused.

1- Last year I was still legally married to my ex-wife (we were separated) we filled our taxes jointly she supports herself and did not appear as a "depedent" in our return, just as an spouse filling jointly. Our divorce was final a few weeks ago and I got married with my new wife. The lawyer said we need to count my ex as part of the household since I lived with her when my taxes were filled. Does anyone knows if that's the case, even though she was not a "dependent?"

2- I am self employed and I just want to make sure what what line of my 1099 or schedule C is what I need to consider as My individual annual income.

Thanks

Thanks Aaron2020. I just couldn't believe I could use the gross income. My wife keeps looking at the forms and telling me that's what I needed but I somehow understood it different.

Anyone can help please. Our question is... So now that we have to count the ex-wife as a part of household, do we use the line of adjust gross income of the tax return they filed together?
