Direct flights to/from Morocco

Is NYC the only city in the US where you can get direct flights to Morocco? I'm thinking it is. My husband's worried about his mom being able to find her way through several connecting flights, as she's never flown and only speaks Darija. Is there a way that we can request transfer assistance from someone at the airport?

Theres been a couple of SO come over lately im pretty sure maggies come thru NYC i was going to ask the same thing when the time comes. I dont want it anymore stressful and confusing than it already is, i know when i came in NYC (going) all flights were late so i missed the Morocco one and had to spend the night. Also i did coming back but that was planned, i dont want him to worry with all that, the straighter the better. Hopefully some will give options.

I thought Atlanta and Washington also had direct flights from Casa on RAM. Not helpful for Texas I guess.

I didn't find any from Atlanta since that is where I fly out of. I have only found direct from NYC. (JFK)

The only direct RAM flight is out of JFK.

i would definitely suggest you ask the airline if they can assist her !

You can also google JFK airport and look for their information line. From there you can find out if they have a traveler's aid section like we have here in Seattle. Omar had no problem but he has a decent amount of english. As for not missing the flight, definitely follow the advice of others and allow 3 hours between connections for immigration.

Carrie is right, but RAM also flys out of Washington, San Francisco and Atlanta (mabe not with a RAM crew but with a partnership airline?) Would be worth talking to the airline you choose about connecting flihts and assistance.

I tried that and the partner in Atlanta is Delta, which will fly you to JFK just to xfer to an RAM flight going directly into Casa. I really don't think there is anyway around it. If I am incorrect for some reason, than I appologize, but I have yet to find any other direct flight other than thru JFK.

I had to use delta as the partner with RAM when I flew. I think air france goes from casa to paris then to atlanta.

I emailed janejfk@aol.com who's the Program Manager for Traveler's Aid at JFK about this, and she said that yes they can assist with my mother-in-law changing planes. I also asked about any fee and she replied that they're a non-profit organization and donations are always welcome.

Dunno if we'll go that way but it's nice to know your options.
