Yes I have called, no they do not take calls. It will just add to your frustration-I know it just added to mine.

Yes i called islamabad embassy. as far as i know they are not even aware of interview cancellation nor they got any calls regarding the cancellations. we were the only ones to call. according to them they hv no idea about whats happening. there is construction going(shifting) on to another office to another buildng so he said that might be the reason or it maybe eid.

I cannot believe that people who had their case completed in the second week of August are getting September interviews, while the people with July completion dates got a generic letter stating their interview cancellations. I'm almost ready to file a complaint to the office of Inspector General for abuse and mismanagement by the department of state which applies to both the US Embassy in Islamabad and the NVC.

Absolutely unacceptable.

but there is nothing much we can do here except for waiting and waiting...The only answer NVC people have is they have no time frame for as to when our interviews will be scheduled.

dunno what can help us in this phase except for God and our prayers. :(

but the best part is we are all together in this ! :) nobody is travelling alone in this boat :D

So i just called the medical person at akuh. He was aware of the cancellations and looks like he is in t ouch with islamabad embassy and conveyed the info that we might get out interview scheduling letters by next week and that it was bcz of eid combined with over scheduling that they had to cancel. and he was positive we will get the letter the coming week. so thats hopeful. i hope u guys find some hope in it too. Also he recommended we continue our medical appointments as they are valid for 6 months.

That's good news I hope it's true and we get out interview letters by next week.. It's really unfair with us since all of us had CC in July and still waiting on our interviews.. While people from August are getting scheduled ?? what else we can do except wait .. And it feels like been waiting for real long
