Good day everyone!

A little background: We originally filed for K3 visa and then switched to CR1 Because our i130 got aproved first. Fast forward to June, I received a letter from the embassy in Manila that I can schedule my interview for the K3 visa and get my physical done as well. Maybe NVC didn't notice two petitions filed under my name due to the system errors they were experiencing at that time. So I got interviewed last July 30, 2015 and got approved (yey!). A week after that, my husband received a letter from NVC that they are forwarding our i130 to the embassy in Manila. Now, after alot of emails and calls, we have come to a conclusion that our i130 maybe got 'expedited' right? Coz the embassy in Manila told me thru email that I need to schedule another interview for the CR1 Visa. So I scheduled it this Sept. 16, 2015. My question is, how do I go about the AOS and IV package? Do I submit them before my interview? Or can I do it on the day? Im in Cebu so I will be flying to Manila on Sept. 15,2015. They basically have all my civil documents from the previous K3 interview, except for the i864 form which Im lacking.

Sorry for the long post and I hope you guys can help me. Thanks!

your case is a little different

The Cr-1 visa is a better visa so you should get that one instead. I Think

You just need to bring all your original documents to the interview.

Have your husband fill out a I-864 form and send that alone with latest tax transcripts and employment letter and or pay check stubs to you. The embassy did not ask to see the Aos packets from my wife but they probably will for you since your you did not submit anything to the NVC

Yes, it is odd. ? I will just wait tomorrow for any updates from the embassy since I completed my DS260 and scheduled my interview over the weekend. So you think it will be fine? Submitting my documents on the same day as my interview?

I think it will be ok. I do not think they let you schedule interview if they needed something first from you . It seems like you cr-1 is like doing the DCF filing where the NVC is skip and you just bring everything to interview.

One thing i forgot. When did you do your physical? As the expiration date of your cr-1 visa is 6 months from the date of your physical. You will only have untill that date to enter USA

If you plan on coming as soon as you have the visa then you should not have any worries

If you plan on waiting a little then you should keep that in mind
