Lost I-797c for biometric appointment - for Rescheduling

Hello all, at loss here.

I needed to reschedule my biometric appt on 31st Aug.

I made a copy of the I-797c, marked the box (on original) to request reschedule - put it in mail and then I realized i forgot stamp.

I have a copy of the NOA. Though I have written the return address on the envelope, USPS havent returned it yet (it has been 4 days today).

What are my options now? Can I just send the copy to VA BPU/ASC address? or wait for USPS return?

Appt is on monday August 31st - so I may still have time to send reschedule request via priority/ express mail to reach ASC on monday.

If it doesn't get delivered it will get returned but who knows when, it might already be a little late ro rescheduled it since mail takes about 3 days. If for some reason you can't make the schedule biometrics appointment most places will let you do a walk in prior to the actual appontment, all you need is to bring the appoinment letter and explain why you can't make it on the day of. priority mail will get there by saturday 29th (so they get it by monday 31st).

The ASC fingerprint is being scheduled at is about 3 hours away from where we live. so walk-in is not really an option
