Hello All,

I hope someone will able to answer my question {s} and or give me some feed back. I submited my husbands paper work on February 24th, 2015. On July 13th, 2015 the process was suspended because we forgot my passprt photo's. We were able to submitted the photo's by August 10th, 2015 and just receieved the approval on August 16th, 2015. Can anyone tell me whats the next steps and approximately, how long will it take for him to receieve an interview date? Is it hopeful, to think that he will be with me to bring in the new year?

The case will be forwarded to the NVC (usually two weeks before they do). NVC will prep it and assign a case number for the embassy in JA. Your fiance should have already started collecting information to support the i864, they should forward this to you ASAP. See the guides for all that is necessary. The embassy will then contact with packet 3 and once you confirm that you have all the documents they will send packet 4 with an interview date.

23 Feb 2013 -- Relations began (L)

19 May 2014 -- Visited! :luv:

26 Jun 2014 -- Engaged :dancing:

15 Oct 2014 -- I-129F package finished and mailed to Dallas

17 Oct 2014 -- NOA1 (email) TSC

22 Oct 2014 -- ARN updated

13 May 2015 -- NOA2 (email) :dancing:

19 May 2015 -- NOA2 Hardcopy

4 June 2015 -- NVC received (I think lol) Case number assigned.

11th June 2015 -- NVC sent to Bridgetown

16th June 2015 -- Bridgetown received

17th June 2015 - PCKT3 received
30th June 2015 - PCKT4 received

9th July 2015 - Medical (too many needles :/ )

21st July 2015 - Interview date :goofy:

10th August 2015 - Approved

12th August 2015 - Issued

13th August 2015 - Visa in hand via DHL

24th August 2015 - US arrival (POE MIA)

I'm aprox 2/3 weeks ahead of you and I'm hoping he'll be here for Christmas. I got approved on 07/23/15.

Just jump in the August NVC thread and call them as often as possible . I'm hoping to get the packets out tomorrow and be done with NVC by the end of September. I figure he'll get a late November/early DEC appointment.

08/25/15 Sent AOS & IV package

08/31/15 DS-261 reviewed

08/31/15 AOS & IV scan date confirmed by Sup.

09/02/15 Received IV bill by email

09/03/15 Paid IV bill

09/09/15 Submitted DS-260

09/17/15 Case Completed @ NVC

10/06/15 Expedite Request sent to NVC

11/12/15 Contacted Sen. Marco Rubio for assistance with expedite by email

11/19/15 Expedite Approved

12/9/15 Medical

12/11/15 Interview (Approved)

12/14/15 CEAC Status changed to AP

12/15/15 CEAC Status Changed to Issued

12/18/15 Picked up Passport & booked hubby's ticket.

12/31/15 Ring in the New Years together after 4 years!!!! :dancing:
