US PR but working in Canada 2 days

Hi all,

I'm coming close to my final week of work here in Canada and FINALLY moving to be with my husband in Seattle. My job has given me a "too good to resist" offer of temporary employment in which I would continue to work for them 2 days a week in Canada until they are able to find my replacement.

Am I allowed to do this? Will I run into any issues?

Thanks all!

With your Visa type you're arriving with the equivalent of a greencard and are free to go back across the border the same day if you want/need to. There is a fellow Cdn VJer (Neiks)who works for the Canadian border control (or used to) and crosses regularly, not sure if she;s still posting, but it s not a problem

I assume you'd still be crossing back home in the evening to your Seattle home? One always should consider the amount of time spent out of the US once you're on your GC, but 2 workdays a week wouldn't be a problem. And it sound temporary anyway.
