Okay. I am from Gujarat and I have seen other 3 people from Gujarat having the same issue. It should be the same in all states but don't know for sure. Anyways. It's always better to be proactive than reactive. So doing some inquiry would be good. :)

6-Aug-2015: Filled and submitted DS-261

7-Aug-2015: AOS fee invoiced and paid(Status: In Process)

Where in Ahmedabad are u frm?

I'm petitioner though - I was born in Ahmedabad. (shahibag)

I came to india in January/February - lived at ranna park, ghatlodia ?

My wife is from Ahmedabad too but currently in Surat

Haha. Nice. I am the beneficiary and am from Ahmedabad. Also, my husband was born here but left when he was just a child. My father in law is from Surat though.

Agree with shahmalhar, the world is definitely small. :)

Well, we never got an email or any kind of mail from the USCIS. We found out about the approval from the website when we checked the case status. It will be 2 months this 6th September since we were approved, and still we haven't gotten any mail. Lol.

I am just glad I am out of the hell-hole that is TSC.

My wife is in Punjab and she did not need spouse's name in her passport for PCC. She applied at the passport office in Chandigarh, and she said they did not ask for any details about husband; she obviously filled in 'married' on her PCC application.

i dont need to change coz i am husband my wife will change when she goes to usa

Oh you will too. They just haven't made you suffered enough yet. Once they feel they have really broken you, then they will approve you.

Lol sorry I'm just exaggerating. But I hate the TSC so much.

i am ready for that i cn understand your frustration but we cant fight with them coz they have our life line coz we have too waot and watch :clock::clock:
