Hi I want to be sure if U.A.E. is a waiver country? I worked there for 2 years and do I have to obtain police clearance? We are about to start k1 process, and if I can get things done earlier than the interview the better. TIA God bless!

05/April 2015 DS 261 Completed
01/April 2015 AOS Fee Paid
10/May 2015 Received letter from NVC for approved my DS 261
18/May 2015 AOS and IV sent....

21 May 2015 Scan date .....received email form NVC on 29 of May

29/May 2015 Sent money order by mail for IV fee

04 june 2015 IV Fee Paid (email from NVC on 10 of June )

22 june 2015 received check list letter from NVC For not filling of ds260 !!!!

25 june 2015 scan date for AOS (check list )

26 june 2015 IV paid

29 july CC

interview by 24 sep email received by 31 of august

If you are still living in UAE then yes you do need to get a PC for your interview. If you are not located in the UAE, then the answer is no because to get one you must be living in the UAE.

You will have no problems at your interview without one.

Hi!,

I also worked in UAE for 7 yrs. during my K1 process I was already in the Philippines. The CO in US Embassy Manila undestand that we can no longer obtain PC if we are not physically present in UAE. They never ask for it.

So no worries :thumbs:

N-400 (Online - Seattle Field Office)

(00days) 2018-10-01 Filed ONLINE - received Payment Confirmation the same day - paid by Credit Card

(04days) 2018-10-05 Received NOA by mail

(05days) 2018-10-06 Received email - Biometrics appointment is scheduled

(09days) 2018-10-10 Check my online account and my Biotmetrics Notification is attached and available

(11days) 2018-10-12 Biometrics (fingerprinting) completed - Walk-in no problem; saved 2 weeks (Original appointment date is Oct. 26)

(436days) 2019-12-11 I am US Citizen now!!!
