Why did you do k3? K3 is waste of time and useless. If you would have file IR catagory, you would have to wait same time but atleast more beneficial. K3 might take year and half and IR take 1 year. K3 can be denied easily because its non immigration, IR can not be denied that easily. It makes absolutely no sense to do k3 where you are eligible for immigrant visa.

Try cspa calculator and see if you qualify. You use september 1st as current date.

I 130 is taking long at nebraska. But if delays happen, they transfer cases to other uscis. I129F is 5 months. So when uscis get back up with lot of cases, they transfer to other uscis so that all get approved in timely manner. Sometimes you have to wait at uscis or sometimes at NVC. Either way it takes about same time regardless of where you petition.

I am not sure what your son's DOB is so that is why I ask you to try CSPA calculator. Once you qualify for CSPA, they really do not have timeframe for cspa review. I am november 2013 filler waiting for last 3 months for cspa review. Here is how our case processed.

PD 11/27/2013

Approval date 04/01/2015

Dueation of approval 1 year 4 months 6 days

Actual age 21 years 4 months 16 days

CSPA age 20 years 0 month 10 days

Since her cspa age is less than 21 years 0 month 0 days, she qualify.

When i called nvc about 1 month ago, they said my case was being reviewed by cspa, didnt give me a time frame. Just said i would be notified.

I also read here that no one really knows if they approved until interview with Consular i think that is horrible, and very costly for a kid that has to travel over 32 hours to go to interview. There has to be a way to help this.

Especially since my son has a A NUMBER AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and graduated from usa high school. And is Registered in the selective services here.

I am gonna call a lawyer i seen posted on here.
