Hello again.........

Ok, so when I get to the USA how does the EAD situation work? I need to work as soon as possible when I get over there.

Assuming I make JFK my POE I should get an EAD. Am I right in thinking that that will allow me to work for only 90 days?

So what happens when the 90 days is up?.......can I get a further EAD or do I have to stop working until i get AOS?

Thanks :)

hi there

yep ya right it is valid for 90 days only ... as soon as you get your marriage certificate you apply for an EAD along with your AOS...your not suppose to work after the 90 days with going through JFK and getting a stamp..

I did a search for JFK entry and ti came up with lots of posts where this question has been asked...do a search and you might learn more than i can give you...

good luck to you for the future

We did the EAD thing and as it turned out it was a waste of time and money. It took three months to get the EAD and two months after that Claudeth had her green card. She didn't even go to work until a month after her green card so it was a waste for us.
