My mom currently has her case complete at NVC but has no interview date yet. she is in the states visiting me on a non immigrant visa right now. is it possible to have her interview location changed from the Ghana embassy so that she can have it here while she is visiting. I would really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

I would suggest you get an INFOPASS appointment with USCIS local office and find out from there since no one has any answer for you.

If all of your information has been sent to Ghana already then, it is unlikely.

It doesn't hurt to find out with infopass appointment. But if you will do it, do so quickly. The red tapes in Fed agencies are difficult to break cycle when it is already set in motion.

Complaint letter with OIG : 12/29/2016

Case dispatched to diplomatic pouch : 01/11/2017

Case dispatched from diplomatic mail service to NVC : 01/23/2017

Case arrived at NVC: 01/26/2017

NVC sent case to USCIS : 02/09/2017 (system update)

Case receive by USCIS (text & email notification): 03/07/2017
