Police certificate 10 year address history

Anybody else struggle with this? I'm having a very hard time remembering the required information, and am on the verge of making some educated guesses. Anyone find a way to get their own address history without going to the extent of running a credit check on themselves? Or is it not even that important to get them exactly right beyond the last few years? I know probably the last six.

Ask your Mum. She probably has an address book she wrote it in.

Check Amazon under manage your addresses, I found a couple of postcodes that way, maybe also ebay?

I used Noddle to do a free credit check, and it had all of my previous addresses

Going through old photos can be a good way to jog your memory for places you've lived...

I found the 10 year requirement for the police certificate reasonably easy but, as a CR-1, for my IV application I had to find addresses going back to the mid-eighties when I was 19 - is that not something a K-1 has to do?

Anything prior to 1998 is almost impossible to find online so whilst I managed to figure out the addresses (royal mail postcode finder and google maps helped for finding house numbers and postcodes) I had to guess the years, months and dates for a lot of the older addresses!!
