F 1 appointment please help

Hi I need urgent help. I have been accepted in a school in the US and school start date is August 24th but when I tried to schedule an appointment at the Accra Consulate for an F1 visa the earliest date they have is September 14. Can anyone please advise me on how I can get an earlier date? Thank you all so much.

if there are no earlier dates available, then there are no earlier dates available. you would need to contact your DSO at the school and inform them to postpone your start date and issue you a new I20 with a later start date.

Either:

1. you waited until the last minute and basically too late

OR

2. you applied to school way too early (as it is already 8.6.15) and without any preparation.
