Hi.. I have a quick question, i hope it doesn't sound stupid..

I know for a fact I have never been arrested or anything along that line. But I'll be honest, my brain or my thinking takes me places in short, i could be paranoid over something that doesnt even exist. So my question is..

My interview has been scheduled pretty quick, like basically within 10 days from when I had my biometrics, I have received the physical letter itself with the interview date.. Is it safe to assume that I cleared the background check, name check and whatever else necessary, just fine? I hear of stories whose interview are delayed due to background check, but if its rather the opposite as in, quick processing, is that a good indicator? Thank you and I hope to receive some good insights and responses..

It simply means that the background check has been completed. The FBI does not maintain determination factors in your approval to become naturalized. They finish the check, and send the findings to the local office. So unless you murdered someone, it would always make it to the interview stage.
