Hi there, my cousin already submitted her application for US visa extension two mnths ago.. until now, the result is still on process and pending. My question is, is she be allowed to travel domestic just to visit her ailing relatives in chicago for few days only? What are the documents she needs to bring with her to avoid possible hold by TSA??

Thanks

She applied for an extension of her status, right? (A US visa is only for entry, and is not relevant while you are in the US.)

TSA never has anything to do with immigration matters.

If she happens to run into a CBP checkpoint or something (unlikely), her I-539 receipt will show that she's authorized to stay in the US.

Unusual but happens

Hi thanks for your reply... I really appreciate it... Is she going through with CBP checkpoint even on a domestic flight? Thnaks

CBP checkpoints are usually on roads. But they also sometimes do checks on buses, trains, and airports. They are only located within 100 miles of the border.
