So, what's next?

Other than finding a job. I don't plan on working. I'm a stay at home mom.

My question of concern is with travel.

I'm a little worried about going back home to visit. I've been here in the USA for almost 15 months. I have a 1 year old son who hasn't been able to see his Oma back in Canada (she can't cross because she is waiting on her German passport). And I would really like to go back home to see my mom. It would be nice!

With ap you aren't granted access back in to the USA, do I have anything worry about? Has anyone encountered any issues while crossing from canada to the USA and back?

I know I'll get pulled in, any documents I should bring with me to come back to the USA with?

I'd just like to hear some of your experiences. Give me a little relief. I still have to get my son's passport but, that won't take long. I'm looking to go back home for my mother's birthday in early August.

You should be fine to travel with your EAD/AP card. You might want to bring a copy of your marriage certificate and the supporting AOS documents you have.

Good Luck!

You're welcome.

I see you're using the Pittsburgh, PA field office for your AOS, is your POE Detroit/Windsor? My wife is from Windsor and we've done that POE a couple of times.

I went to Pittsburgh to do the finger prints but that will be changing to Jersey soon.

My point of entry was in Niagara falls Canada to Niagara NY. It was a pretty smooth process

We usually cross in upstate NY coming from Mass, either at the Peace Bridge or the Queenston/Lewiston bridge depending on where we're going. The border crossings there are usually pretty good to go through. We've had problems at the Detroit/Windsor crossing going both ways.
