Hello, good morning. I received the letter that my case is complete on May 21, 2015. Today is two months from that. I just called the NVC number 603-334-0700. The agent I spoke to said something about scheduling the appointment... but then he said all I have to do is wait.

Has anyone heard of making your own appointment in CD Juarez. He really confused me...other than broke my heart telling me I still don't have an appointment. I will appreciate any reply. :(

Actually...this is what the letter says....

21-MAY-15

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Sincerely,

Director

National Visa Center

They do schedule your appointment...once they schedule your appt they will email you a checklist and instructions on how to schedule you medical and biometrics appt. I called at least every other week to get updates on my case...I don't know why they take so long on certain cases

We got that same letter from the NVC. I believe we recieved it on April 24th saying they're experiencing an increased volume of applicants and that it will be at least 60 days frmo then until they actually review our case. By May 20th we got another letter saying our case was reviewed and we finally recieved the actual appointment letter with instructions for the consulate interview on June 10th. My husbands appointment was July 27th. We never called to check the status, if anything we were too busy working to save money for the trip to Juarez! Everything fell into place, he was approved and now he is waiting for his passport to be delivered. Good luck and I hope you receive your appointment soon!

Hi there,

I got that letter as well. Then about a week later I got a consular letter telling me to go to a website to schedule my fingerprints and interview. My lawyer went ahead and did everything and my husband has an interview on 08/24/2015.

Congrats Dulceserrano! How was your lawyer about to schedule your interview? I thought interviews are scheduled by NVC?
