hello, please can someone help me with the list of the doc my fiance need to send to me for the k1 visa, 2nd how can i track my case# on DHL maybe it as reach my embassy, 3rd i need the format to draft the letter ffrom her boss, i saw some info online but is not clear enough for me, please if someone can help me with more info, Thanks you in advance.

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

There is no DHL tracking # given from NVC if that's what you mean. If you have your case# from NVC you case goes straight away to embassy.

What letter are you speaking of from her Boss> Are you talking about the "Letter of Employment" she can get from her HR department. It just needs her Full name, Her title, her Salary or Hourly wages for the year and state if shes Part or full time.

Might help also they state what date she started employment.

If she ask for Letter of Employment they will know what to type up at her job.

Yes letter of employment, please with her tax returns do I still need her bank statement?

You only need bank statements if you are using assets to qualify. For Lagos I would have all 3 years Tax transcripts, letter of Employment and most current Pay stub. Current and Previous income need to be at or above the guidelines.

Once you pay get your case# you can pay the 39600 naira visa fee in a GTB Bank,you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com .

You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.htmlNo need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms

All form the Info page here on VJ. See list of Doctors for medical also.

Dwheels, thanks dear so I should go ahead and pay the visa fee,how then will I schedule for my Medicals?

Medicals are walk in. You should get there early. Pay the fee when you want but everyday the appointments get further and further out.

And you hijacked this thread you should have started your own thread. Please read the information you were given and also go to the embassy website and read up.

Dwheels pls wats the account number to pay the money in,and the visa fee is it for Medicals or for visa fee itself.am just curious and we haven't received our packet 3,guess all of this will be in it.

"You can pay your nonimmigrant Machine Readable Visa fee in cash at GT Bank. If you have an account with GT Bank, you can also pay the fee using the bank’s online bill pay service.

At the bank, you must write your fee payment amount and your telephone number in the U. S. visa fee collection slip available at the bank. After receiving your payment, the bank will give you a receipt. You may then use this receipt number when filling out the application for a visa interview."
