Interview Scheduling Frankfurt

Hey,

So, I sent out my Packet 3 two weeks ago and I have been in contact with someone at the consulate during the process due to the strikes. Today I received the email:

"Reference is made to your inquiry. We have received and reviewed [your fiance’s] documents. His request for an appointment was approved today as well which enables him to arrange for a visa interview appointment through our Visa Service Provider.

We hope that this information is helpful to you."

However, when he checked his email he did not have the approval. We went through the endless loop in the "New Appointment/Schedule Appointment" tab on the left and still nothing. I tried doing live chat with USTravelDocs to see if it is just a system problem or what, but that timed out and gave me a form to email them.

Is this normal? Or what should the process be from here on out? Ive read in other topics that he should just get an email inviting him to schedule the interview, he gets a link, chooses a date, and all is good. Does this sound like a tech glitch to you guys? Or should I be emailing the consulate again?

Thanks!

Thank you for the reply, it came through this morning. I was just being paranoid because so far if it can go worng/be delayed it has. Not with RFEs or anything, but with system crashes, printing problems, post strikes, etc. The logistics have been a nightmare...
