Help with 1485 RFE

I am the beneficiary and husband U.S Citizen the petitioner. We filed in May 2015. Did my biometrics but received RFE letter addressed to me which says. (X) Submit all supporting documentations,(w-2s,1099,2555,and all supporting tax schedules submitted to IRS for most recent tax year. The petitioner/sponsor must submit all supporting documents for the most recent tax year. I want know if the letter wants me the beneficiary to submit any of this stuff since letter was addressed to me or is it the petitioner the are talking to. Secondly, my husband is self employed has his own business and does not use w-2s and 1099, he already sent in his tax return but no supporting documents. What else does he need to support his tax returns? Will appreciate any information you can give here

We also received an RFE with a very vague ' does not meet income guidelines'. But we do !

I am self employed also for the past 20 years.

I had submitted : 12 most recent bank statements from 2 accounts,

2012 and 2013 tax transcripts, 2014 tax return,

my professional state license, all showing my income and deposits,

and annuity statement.

I couldn't understand the RFE and consulted with a CPA and 2 tax preparers and an immigration attorney, all thought the RFE is bizarre.

I then re send bank statements from 2014 and 2015 from 2 accounts,

a bank letter listing my annual deposits,

a 2014 official IRS transcript,

a self employed business ledger showing income from 2015 Jan-June and expenses and the projected income for the rest of the year.

I also wrote a letter pulling everything together and highlighting the core points and explaining the added annuity I get monthly.

I know that he has to proof what he brought in so far this current year 2015 and what his projected income is for the rest of the year.

Not just last year based on his taxes.

All tax returns must show all schedules relevant to his business, that's why he should order the IRS transcripts by mail as soon as possible,

they are official and have everything attached.

We are waiting what they do with our response to the RFE, so far all we have is a received RFE response update showing on our

online status. It's not easy to figure out some RFE's and you have to get in their minds and guess what they are looking for.

It is difficult for self employed especially. What is scary is that a second RFE does not have to be send and if they don't like what you

respond with they can deny so take it seriously and send as much as you can and create a ledger if he doesn't yet have one.

Ok so the letter is not for me to submit supporting tax ocuments since it was addressed to me?

I mean letter is for my husband the petitioner and not me the beneficiary,? the confusion is that it was addressed to me

Yes, either using a joint sponsor or assets is fine and yes your husband the USC answers the RFE because it is his affidavit of support in

your I-485 packet.
