Medical - Embassy Date/Letter

So I had my Medical 10 days ago. Filled out the D160 and the notice of readiness pro to the medical and now I'm just in limbo waiting :cry: and waiting is the worst thing other flying about this whole process :)

Im just after advice as to who long you should leave it before you start ringing DOS to find out your interview date as I know the letters can sometimes take a eon getting out.

DOS won't give you a date or even talk to you. You can estimate when your interview might be, based on others, by looking at the data here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/549078-medical-to-interview-date-how-long-2015-data/?p=7713407. Maybe 5.5 to 6.5 weeks after your medical.

Hope for a letter at two weeks. Three weeks would not be unheard of.

If you don't get a letter and some weeks have passed by, contact the embassy via their email form. They were pretty prompt in responding to me.
