DS-160 digital photo

Hi everyone,

Does the digital photo for the DS-160 need to be identical to the 4 2x2 real photos needed for the medical and embassy interview?

ROC:

7/2/18 - ROC packet (I-751) sent

7/5/18 - USCIS CSC received

7/13/18 - NOA (I-797) notice date

7/17/18 - $680 check cashed

7/20/18 - NOA (I-797) received

3/11/19 - Biometrics reused

6/4/19 - Case transferred to Potomac Service Center  

10/9/19 - New Card Is Being Produced / Approved

10/11/19 - Card Was Mailed To Me

10/12/19 - Approval Notice received

10/17/19 - 10-yr Green Card received

They can be the same or they can be a new shot. Makes no difference but they need to be the same as required by any instructions.

Timeline

We didn't even have one on ours, we tried to upload one and it said it didn't meet the criteria and it then said on the page we could just bring one, so instead of messing with it, we just took an extra and her picture on the DS-160 was a blank spot.

Shauneg - Your fiancee didn't have any issues at the medical showing your copy of the DS-160 without the digital photo?

Nope, you have to bring three (I think it was) anyway, so she just brought extras...didn't question her about it at the interview either.

4 Photos and 1 DS-160 page is what she brought, don't know if 4 was needed but I know she brought that many to Saint Lukes

4 pieces recent 2"x2" visa photos (see visa photo guide), 3 for submission to the U.S. Embassy, 1 for clinic file. ALL PHOTOS MUST BE IDENTICAL. Write the applicant's complete name at the back of each photo.

1 copy of the DS-160. It will be needed the second day during vaccinations.
