Anyone else stuck waiting for visa issuance in UAE??

I'd appreciate if anyone in the same situation with me in UAE can share your experience/status updates/progress.

I had an IV interview, got approved but still waiting for the visa to be issued since 15th June till date.

We are in Egypt, but in the same situation. We had our interview and were given our "Congratulations!" letter at the interview and told we were approved, but still waiting for anything more to happen since 14th of June. Our updated status says we are still in "Administrative Processing" since July 1, 2015 (we were in AP before that from June 24th). I feel very frustrated and depressed.

Hi, thanks for sharing. If I'm not mistaken I've seen somewhere somebody in Egypt got the visa issued, not sure what type, most probably, like we all know they prioritized non-immigrants first.

Same with us at Abu Dhabi, Interview was June 24th, was told to come back July 2nd to pick up visa. Drove all the way from Dubai to Abu Dhabi only to be told that it's not ready and to come back Monday July 6th. What a waste of time! I have my doubts it will even be ready Monday. This is so frustrating when trying to book a flight.

Didn't they ask you to check the status on the ceac website before coming to embassy to collect your passport? My interview was 15th June and since the technical issue the status still showing ready. I think I'm going to the embassy on Monday with or without status update.

Oh and your timeline says you got your visa and entered US on 4th Jul??

I apologize I thought I had edited it back to show we didn't get it.

I do have a update, I emailed them and they said now to change Monday to Wednesday July 8th to come and get the visa. This is really frustrating. On CEAC my status shows AP it when to AP on July 2nd. I will just wait till I see ISSUED before going.

Yeah I'm not going there either tomorrow. At least they gave you a date to come back. Me, nothing at all, they said still having problem and will inform me once resolved. Not sure what's happening I'm super worried ? I thought the systems are back online.

Btw from what I've seen from others' case, AP means good, your visa will be printed very soon.

Haha no congrats yet, at least not till the Visa is in hand. ;-)

Hopefully we both get them Wednesday. Your interview date is before mine so you should get yours before me. Good luck to you as well. I don't understand why they can't print these visas off. I thought this problem was resolved last week.

I know, probably they handle the cases chronological backward.

Hey I just keyed in my case no. It says updated as of 4th July. Hope it's a good sign?! Do you remember how many times the date changed from 'Ready' to 'AP'?

Nice I will have to go check mine out. Mine changed on July 2nd to AP. only 1 time from the Interview to July 2nd.

Nope still July 2nd for me. Let me know if your changes to Issued at all.

You might want to email them or go there. Our status didn't change to AP till I went there and the lady at the desk entered my number in to check on it. That's when it changed for me.

Hi, I sent them emails and got reply last Saturday saying they will inform me once it's ready. So I assume I will get the same answer if I drag myself from Dubai to AUH. I'm falling ill too because of this mega stress . Are you collecting your passport tomorrow? I think it's ready you don't have to wait till Wednesday.
