I just booked my k-1 visa interview in Vancouver, the closest date being september 8th.

living in BC, the vancouver consulate made the most sense when we first started the process.

we were really hoping to get this done sooner though, and when i peeked at the montreal dates they had spaces available as early as august 4th.

So my question is: is it possible to change the consulate your interview is to be held at?
my ds-160 is already filed for vancouver if that makes a difference as well

Where you go for your interview based on location. If you live Manitoba and west you must go to Vancouver. There have been a few that have gotten Montreal case numbers but that is more of an accident than normal.

You can keep checking and move up your appointment if you want.
