Correction of Error on CR 1 Visa

Hello Everyone!

I do not know if anyone have had a similiar experience but I am rather stressed out about this and need your help. My husband did his interview in Lagos on June 4th 2015 he was approved for the CR1 immigrant visa and was told to pick up his visa on the 11th of June 2015 but when he went to pick it up at the DHL office it was not ready so they told him to return on the 15th which he did and he was given his visa. Upon examining the visa he realized that it had his gender as *female* so he alerted the person at the DHL office who advised him to take the passport and visa back to the consulate so they could make the corrections. He took it to the consulate who too the visa and advised him to pick it up at the DHL in two weeks which would be the 29th of June 2015. Now when I go on to the CEAC website to check the status of them reissuing his corrected visa the status now says *READY* for interview can anyone explain this to me since he has already passed that step with going for his medical and completing his interview? Please help me as I am very worried. I tried contacting the consulate in Lagos Nigeria but to no avail. Thank you all! :(

Don't worry about what the status of the tracker says. its just wording. he took it back they have to fix it he will pick it up again at the Visa center. No worries. Congratulations.

Visa Journey helped me find an error on the AOS in February 2015. In March 2015 I was also able to help my spouse get the correct birth records required by NVC by reading the Nigerian thread on Visa Journey.

April 2, 2015- Case is in Supervisor Review because the DS260 form was sent electronically January 6, 2015 but hasn't been reviewed as of yet.

April 17, 2015- I finally have the 3rd N/A next to the Affidavit of Support fee. I spoke to a supervisor yesterday (Thursday). She told me she would have the case reviewed by the end of the week. It looks like she kept her word. I will call again tonight to confirm case complete :)

April 17, 2015- CONFIRMED CASE COMPLETE

June 18, 2015- Interview

July 01 , 2015- CEAC Status Shows Issued

July 03, 2015- Welcome to USA!!!

(United Airlines roundtrip ticket estimated at $2000.00)
