NVC checklist

Today we received a checklist stating that our IV fee still needed to paid, WHICH was paid on June 10,2015 online.

It also states that for the affidavit of support my husband needs to send a 2014 IRS tax transcript or a statement stating why he didn't file taxes(which we did) - my husband collects workers comped nation benefits as well as disability benefits as he was hurt at work and is bound to a wheelchair. He wrote a statement stating that and that he collects both workers compensation and disability.

Help. I'm on hold with NVC right now, just curious if anyone else has had something similar to this.

I just spoke with NVC who let me know that the checklist means that whatever it states I have to make sure I bring that to my interview. Seemed kind of weird. I'm gonna call again tomorrow just to make sure. They are basically waiting to review my DS260 which was done on June 11.

I find it odd that the check list states on submit this but the guy who I talked to at NVC said that proof just needs to be brought to the interview.

they accept the workers compensation and disability benefits as income for your AOS?

It's considered income. As long as you can show statements showing proof of benefits collected you should be fine. my thoughts to you is to do a statement stating why you don't file taxes as well with it. The more proof you can have - the better n
