My iv fee invoice was emailed to me on 14th june and im still unable to pay it online.. it shows ''$0.00"

So I will pay by mail. Is that a bad idea?

DO NOT mail it!

I got IV invoice May 23

Dedided to mail it overnight May 28

Able to pay online June 17

Now I cant do anything cant even access ds260

if I waited I would have been able to by now

because when you pay online payment status will change to "paid" in just a couple of days and that would automatically unlock DS260 for you to fill out.

yeah don't do it you literally just got the invoice a few days ago, I waited a month for it to open as did many others . You pay by mail you'll never be able to do the ds-260 at this rate with the system .

I'm following this thread because I'm in the same situation as you, Morganalmonshid94. I'm contemplating paying again online if it let's me access the DS-260 which I've been waiting for now for months. Please keep us updated on how the payment processing goes. Thanks!

I paid it by mail torwards the middle of May because I got invoiced on the 8th and it would not switch from 0.00 to 325.00 . It switched to 325.00 on June 4th, on Thursday I decided to pay it online again because it simply won't switch to paid from the mailed payment and they have no idea when it will, I asked a supervisor how to request a refund . But anyways paid on Thursday morning was able to do the ds-260 Friday evening around 7. So I paid twice it worked . Now I just gotta start dealing with the refund . Another member named toozler did the same thing as me on the same day worked for them as well we both were able to complete it .

Thanks for the advice Morganalmonshid94. I just sent in the online payment today, and it's already been updated to "In Process" which is the best news I've had in a long time. I'm so glad I'll finally be able to fill out the DS-260. We've had plenty of time to prepare for all of the answers. :)

So when we get a checklist only for DS260 does that actually mean our AOS/IV documents are perfect?!?? since NVC didn't ask for anything else.. ??

No because they review everything if your only missing the ds260 and nothing is wrong they'll tell you on the checklist to submit that, that's all it'll say . When u submit the missing piece the puzzle is done .
