Confused by: to confirm payment enter receipt number

Hello members,

On the ustraveldocs.com website is this quoted:

MPORTANT - Applicants are advised to use a browser other than Safari as compatibility issues have been reported. Please contact our support if you encounter any issues while making the payment – DO NOT make the payment again as all fees are non-refundable. To confirm payment please enter your receipt number (Attn: Saudi Arabia applicants please use your Passport Number Field on the Samba Collection Deposit Form). Please note that there could be a delay between the time of payment and the time that you can proceed to schedule your appointment. Please be patient and thanks for your cooperation.

But what is my receipt number? I just have payed the fee and would like to continue there but I have no idea what the receipt number should look like.

Is there anybody who knows the answer??

What was your method of payment? Visa? Cash/Bank Transfer?

If I remember right - I did cash via bank transfer - the receipt number is the number you use for the "Verwendungszweck" in your "Ueberweisung". You should get it automatically when you choose the cash method - its on the information sheet with the instructions on it. But I could be wrong. Call their hotline, they usually are very helpful!

I assume I have to wait a bit ? cause right now it says the number is not valid

No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for.

Yes you have to wait until your payment is processed. You will get an email once they received your money to go ahead and schedule your apointment. But with the current system crash I dont know how they handle the appointments.

Yes you'll get an email. If you haven't received an email within two business you should email them a copy of the payment receipt. I had to do that. I paid through my bank though.

Okay I payed almost before midnight on Thursday. So i assume they process it the following week.
