Hi all.. I have already submitted my application and it arrived today.. My quick question is - I made the check payable to Department of Homeland Security (spelled and written exactly like that - noabbreviations). However, reading too much - Im afraid it was supposed to be US Department of Homeland Security.. Will there be any problem? WIll my application most likely be rejected and returned.. That would suck big time :( Hope anybody who might have sent it out and made it payable to "Department of Homeland Security" could give me some enlightenment.. In the website itself it says, Department of Homeland Security.. But reading here on VJ, im reading they want it with the word US?? Im confused... Will there be any problem? Thanks in Advance!

Im just worried - it's inevitable.. I have too many questions in my head and i just wanna be over all this - but i know i gotta wait.. but something as petty as this, would really be frustrating.. The website itself states for it to be made payable to Department of homeland security.. but the packet itself with the instructions it has the US.. plus reading here on VJ, I have where somebody said, they dont want it without the US

It is normal to be paranoid in this case. The form and instructions are so badly done and user-unfriendly (especially given what a high-stakes game this is) that anybody is bound to get extremely nervous and obsessive-compulsive. I wonder if research has been done to figure out how much the entire visa, green card and citizenship process ages the applicant ... I am getting gray hairs just thinking about filling out the N-400.
