K1 Visa Vaccination Requirements (France)

Hello all,

According to the CDC, the following vaccines are required before getting the K1 visa:

  • Tetanus
  • Pertussis
  • Polio
  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Rotavirus
  • Haemophilus influenzae type b
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Meningococcal
  • Varicella
  • Pneumococcal
  • Influenza

I'm confused because they say that these vaccinations are required, but then there's a table on another page that splits up the vaccinations according to age, and when looking at his age group, most of these aren't required. So what is necessary for the K1 visa? Is it better to just get everything in order to make the AOS process easier after he immigrates?

Many of those are combined shots

MMR is measles, mumps, rubella

Tdp is tentus, polio, and I forget what is.

Varicella is only required if they've never had chicken pox

Flu is seasonal.

In the end you only need three shots.

MMR

Tdp

Pneumococcal

If your fiancee just says they've had chicken pox more than likely they won't be given it.

3 shots that's all....

Ok, but the chart doesn't mention pneumoccocal for his age group. That's part of why I'm confused.

I may have that one wrong...I'm on phone so I can't really look. Either way there's only three. I swear. Is it that important to know which three? The internet can give you the answer I'm sure.

I only see two besides the flu shot, and the reason I came to VJ is because the information presented on the internet is conflicting....I will call the embassy myself.
