K-1 wait?

I put my K-1 packet in the mail to the Texas Service Center on February 22. I sent a check and it still has not been cashed with my bank. I check everyday to see if that check has been cased so I will know that the service center at least has my packet. How long does it usually take? What is the next thing I can expect while I am waiting?

You should get NOA1 soon, which is a letter saying they have your $$. It took us 11 days to get ours. You just have to be patient.

Texas has been known to be very slow. Hopefully the NOA will come soon.

So, by my understanding I will get an NOA1 letter before I even see that the check has been cashed through my bank? Is that right?

I think they will cash the check and mail out the letter the same day

For reference, I sent our packet out on Feb 27th to TSC, it arrived on the 28th, and the check cleared my bank on March 9th. I had the NOA1 in the mail the next day, the 10th.
