Hi. I am 18 years old and I got my green card through my dad's marriage 3 years ago. My dad filed I-751 to remove the condition on his green card and he got his 10 year card in the mail box without an interview. My brother and I filed I-751 and they called us for an interview. Since my dad already got his 10 year which proved the legitimacy his marriage again, I don't really understand why they would wanna interview us? Is it just formality or what should I expect from the interview?

I'm not a hundred percent sure about this but it could be because you are over the age 18 which make you an independent person. There won't be anything hard just make sure that you tell them you got your green card through your dad. Good luck.

Thank you. Hopefully, it'll be easy
