Hi,

Question: Is a CEAC status being on "READY" for a long period of time a negative thing? It's scaring me >: Almost 4 weeks since it's been in "READY" status. Everything checks out clear. I've already had the interview, just had to send in a proper BC. Sent it in April, they finally started working on it in May...

Medical: Clear
Income/Support: Clear (Making 80k a year - Software engineer, permanent position)
Police History: Clear
Relationship Proof: Clear

What's the hold up? >:

~~moved to Canada forum from K1 progress reports for regionally specfic answers~~

If you had to send in docs after the interview it will take 6-8 weeks (or more) after those are received to get the visa.

Otherwise Montréal is being very slow at the moment. Another K1 has had no issues and is still waiting for the visa, 8 weeks after interview.

Also please :time:
